Alfredo Gomez

Hi, I’m Alfredo. I am a PhD student at the Carnegie Mellon University Language Technologies Institute. I am co-advised by Mona Diab and Fernando Diaz and supported by a National Science Foundation CSGrad4US fellowship.

My research interest is in trustworthy ML/NLP. While my current interest is in investigating NLP systems, I’ve also done work in AI for Science.

Prior to starting my Ph.D. at CMU, I received my B.S. from Harvey Mudd College in Math and Computer Science in 2021. I also spent some time as Software Engineer at the California Institute of Technology.
